OCTOBER 2023
Nearly 50 of our loyal members joined us at Township Hall on a beautiful fall evening. The presenters didn't disappoint their audience - each woman gave a wonderful look at the charity they hoped would win the coveted "YES" votes needed. As usual, our members listened closely, asked terrific questions and decided that the
501(c)(3) nonprofit to receive our October donation would be First Tee. First Tee is a youth development program that uses the sport of golf to teach life lessons to underserved kids in the Cleveland area. Their goal is to build "Game Changers" by empowering young students to learn the game of golf and all that it entails - while teaching positive life skills and gaining a sport they can play their entire life.
Since golf is seasonal sport, First Tee is currently working towards the creation of a Culinary Activity Center so they will be able to teach another important life skill - cooking. Along with planning, shopping, and serving kids can make positive strides towards managing their own needs now and in the future.
First Tee serves children from ages 7-14, has touched thousands of life and made a positive difference.
We are, as always, so proud to support this important group and the mission they honor with every child they come in contact with through their programs.

Schulze Foundation will provide a 50% match of our donation if we report to them within 30 days of our meeting, so please send your check promptly to maximize our donation to this worthy group.
Our next meeting is on Tuesday, January 23rd from 7-8:00pm at Chagrin Falls Township Hall.
Bring a friend so they can join us in making a difference in our corner of the world.
We are truly STRONGER TOGETHER.
JULY 2023
Anyone who has ever had to navigate their way through the healthcare community knows the pitfalls that are inherent within the system.
When one is generally underserved and may have language and monetary disadvantages on top of being ill and stressed, those gaps loom even larger. Thankfully, this is where Carmella Rose Health Foundation plays a part and we are proud to be a part of their effort.
Our generous members chose Carmella Rose as our July 2023 quarterly recipient of the donated funds we will collect in the next few weeks.Carmella Rose Health Foundation is to improve the health of our community one person at a time. The many services they offer include every aspect of healthcare, from cancer resources, prescription help, billing and insurance, housing and mental health to senior and long-term care. They fill huge gap and provide a helping hand to their many
clients.

Last night's meeting was a special one because we shared a glass of wine and toasted our achievement of reaching the $520,000.00 mark in donated funds since our 100 Women Who Care group began in January 2011.
It was wonderful to celebrate together, knowing that we have made (and continue to make) a difference in our community.
Our good work continues because after 3 excellent presentations, the group receiving the most votes last night was Courage To Caregivers. This wonderful group has as its mission to "provide hope, support, and courage to caregivers and loved ones of those living with mental illness." By providing one-to-one caregiver peer support, breathing meditation classes, support groups and educational classes, they help prevent "caregiver burnout."
As the airlines say, put your own oxygen mask on first, then help others - and Courage To Caregivers is
supplying the tools for caregivers to help themselves first so they can be better helpers to their loved ones.
Our donations will enhance Courage To Caregivers efforts to help more people cope with their own difficult situation. One never knows when each of us may someday have the need for these same services.
Please check your email for instructions on where to send your check made out to

October 2022
Our quarterly meeting last night was so gratifying - we had wonderful attendance and 3 inspirational presentations. We also had something happen that has never happened before when one 501(c)(3) was plucked from the fishbowl 3 times! We all agreed to one presentation in support of that group and 2 other group names were pulled. All presenters did a wonderful job explaining the profound needs of the organizations they presented but sadly, we could only choose one. We encourage the other presenters to try again!
Humble Design - Cleveland is the recipient of the October quarterly donation. This group is changing lives and communities with their mission of making houses and apartments into homes for individuals, families and veterans emerging from homelessness. They have a warehouse of donated furniture and incidentals that contains everything to make a house a home - from kitchen items to bedding to artwork and more. These are everyday things that we all take for granted, but to their clients they are life changing. Their designer/volunteers create interior spaces intentionally for each client/family, and the clients' personal input helps them feel seen and valued perhaps for the very first time.
Humble Design is working to end the revolving door of homelessness by creating a sanctuary with
a fresh start that includes peace, strength, hope and safety. In providing these important elements, mindsets can be changed, self-empowerment can take root and long-term stability can become a reality.
Join us in supporting Humble Design - Cleveland as they do the important work of designing and furnishing spaces for people and families in need in Cleveland by submitting your quarterly donation.

This will be a celebratory meeting to commemorate the fact fact that together we have raised over $500,000.00! That's over half a million dollars in 11 years - the power of women is indeed awesome when we work together for the greater good. Come alone, bring a friend - but be there to experience the joy of giving as a group. A representative from Humble Design will speak for 5 minutes to share their thanks and how our donated funds are being used.
We will have all the protocols in place for your safety - socially distanced seating, masks if desired and open hearts as we choose our next worthy charity.
We're looking forward to seeing you - we miss you, and remember there are so many 501(c)(3) groups that need our help more now than ever! Please research one and put it in the fishbowl so it can be considered for the funds we collect in January.
July 2022
A report of child abuse is made every 10 seconds - that translates into 7 million children in our great country who are directed through Child Protective Services every year. This is unconscionable, so it’s no wonder that for our July quarterly donation the 100 Women of the Western Reserve chose
Hope for Kids Geauga.
The mission of this group is to serve those very children in need in Geauga County.
Hope for Kids Geauga endeavors to to reduce the stress, chaos and trauma to these children by funding enrichment, educational and developmental activities. Child abuse is a generational problem because those who are abused are at much higher risk for poor academic achievement, mental health disorders, drug abuse and criminal activities.
We are so proud to join Hope for Kids Geauga as we help them to “Bridge the Gap” for the kids of Geauga County by assuring they have funds for services and activities beyond what the county can traditionally offer.

April 2022
Members of 100 Women Who Care of the Western Reserve, you are truly a miracle! Nearly 50 loyal members were lucky enough to hear the presentations of two past recipients of our funds - and their messages put a smile on our faces and pride in our hearts! We heard from Edna House and
The Metanoia Project about the differences our contributions made to their mission. It was so gratifying to hear and really understand that the funds we provide can help so many people in need.
And on that note, we had 3 excellent choices for this quarterly donation, but it was Hattie Larlham
our members deemed the most worthy for their vote. Member Carol Trapp spoke of her son's experience at Hattie Larlham and the impact it has made on their lives. Since 1961, HL has been serving children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities with compassionate and innovative care. The Larlham facilities have grown to include residential, medical, recreational, and educational services, with work training and employment included for those who are able.
HL truly enhances the quality of life for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families through their commitment to comfort, joy and achievement .

January/February 2022
Apologies for this late posting of the report on our January virtual meeting!
First we want to thank everyone who reached out and suggested charities. They were all very good suggestions and we hope they will be in the fishbowl when we have our April meeting.
We took the responsibility of representing our membership very seriously through this selection process.
The following criteria from our 100+ website was used:
After much discussion and consideration, The Edna House was the charity chosen for this quarter. Edna House was founded in 2004, for the past 17 years they have helped over 1500 women restore their dignity and self respect helping them free themselves from alcoholism and addiction.
Their mission is to give women an opportunity to recover from alcohol and drug addiction by providing a safe, sober place to live and learn life skills in order to maintain sobriety throughout their lifetime. Residents are at peace knowing that their desire to stay sober is honored and nothing more than their willingness to participate is required to have a home there. The residents care for the house and
each other, no judgment, no exclusions.
Edna House is a 501(C)(3) Northeast Ohio nonprofit sustained entirely through private donations from grants, individuals, corporations and two fundraisers. Their budget is $350,000 per year. They have a staff of 4 paid employees and are sustained by their volunteer program of over 300 women, many of whom are alumnae of the program. A majority of their funds go to programming.
With this program women return to their families and community sober, strong, law abiding and
with sustainable employment. For the Edna House, there is no greater gift than returning a mother, grandmother, sister or an aunt back to their family.
For more information please refer to their website: ednahouse.org.
Please check your email for instructions on where to send your check made out to
The Edna House and thanks so much for your loyal support.

Our next meeting is on April 26th at 7pm at Chagrin Falls Township Hall.
We will have all the protocols in place for your safety - windows open, socially distanced seating, masks if desired and open hearts as we choose our next worthy charity.
We're looking forward to seeing you - we miss you!
October 2021
It felt so great to be back at Chagrin Falls Township Hall for our October 26th meeting! We had about 65 loyal members and observers join us for our first indoor, in-person meeting and the evening did not disappoint. Despite being masked and socially distanced in our chairs, it was like we’d never had an interruption once the presentations began.
Our members chose The Metanoia Project, an organization that provides hospitality care for vulnerable men and women who are unsheltered (will not use typical homeless shelters) during the cold winter months.
They operate 3 smaller shelters that can accept 13-15 guests because this lower occupancy seems to provide better results with less conflict. Traditional shelters don’t work for all who are in need, and this is the gap that
The Metanoia Project fills by providing hot meals, services, showers, clothing, hygiene and trauma informed hospitality during the cold winter months. Metanoia means “transformative change” and that is the mission of this group - to help their guests see that a there is another way to live in this often harsh world and to accept the helping hand that is offered.
We’re so proud to commit this quarterly donation to The Metanoia Project to help them further their worthy
mission as the Cleveland winter is nearly upon us.
Please check your email for instructions on where to send your check made out to
The Metanoia Project and thanks so much for your loyal support.
Remember, the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation will provide a 50% match of our donation up to $5,000.00 if we report our donation to them within 30 days of our meeting, so please do this promptly to maximize our donation to this worthy group.
Our next meeting is on January 25th at 7pm at Chagrin Falls Township Hall - we hope to see you there.
July 2021
Words hardly express the great joy and gratitude that was felt at our first in-person meeting since COVID, held outdoors at Holbrook Hollows in Bainbridge. Approximately 65 current and several new members enjoyed the beautiful setting and fellowship while listening to the presentations. We had some catching up to do - there were terrific speakers from recent recipients (Rid-All Green Partnership, Bainbridge Food for Friends, Cleveland Food Bank, and Boys and Girls Clubs of Cleveland/Soul to Sole). It's always gratifying to learn how our donation has positively affected each groups' outreach and ability to serve their communities.
Members rose to the occasion with 3 new charities to share in 5 minute presentations and their persuasive skills made it very hard to choose, but the majority vote went to 2nd Act/Improbable Players.
2nd Act is a non-profit theatre company of actors, teaching artists and drama therapists who change the way people and communities respond to the impact of substance abuse. Recently, Improbable Players and
Creating Outreach About Addiction Support Together merged to become 2nd Act. To learn more about
the work they do and the impact they have, please go improbable players.org.
Check your personal email for information on where to send your check.
Remember, the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation will provide a 50% match of our donation up to $5,000.00 if we report our donation to them within 30 days of our meeting, so please do this promptly to maximize our donation to this worthy group.
Mark your calendar for October 26th, our next meeting. We will update you via email on when and
where it will be held.
Stay healthy...and thank you for your support.
April 2021
We were so hopeful the April meeting would mark a transition as our last cancelled meeting, moving back to the
in-person meetings we used to enjoy - but it was not to be!
Instead, 100WWC member Christine Gibbons nominated The May Dugan Center to be the recipient
of our April virtual quarterly donation. This phenomenal organization serves 6,500 individuals
in the Cleveland area with services including food, clothing, behavioral health counseling, adult education,
job services, victim services and trauma counseling. Their mission is help individuals enrich and advance their lives and communities. May Dugan was a one-person advocate who housed as many as 25 needy people in her attic, basement and garage on the near West Side of Cleveland in the 1950’s and 1960’s. Her compassion was inspirational and her influence has continues to benefit so many, especially during this difficult pandemic.
The May Dugan Center has served 500,000 meals since last March, in addition to the varied life-enhancing
services they have provided since 1969. With all the these services in place, we are proud to support
The May Dugan Center. Our April dollars/donation of $9,075 will allow them to continue to impact even more
lives in the days and weeks ahead, and the 50% matching funds from the Best Buy/Richard Schulze Foundation added $4,575 for a total of $13,650. Well done, ladies!
Mark your calendar for July 27th for our first outdoor in-person meeting at Holbrook Hollows at 7250 Country Lane, Bainbridge Township. For further directions, go to geaugaparkdistrict.org.
Looking forward to seeing each of you then!
January 2021
It certainly takes more than a pandemic to impact the intentions of 100 strong, determined women who care about the state of our world. Once again, you have proven your dedication to improving the lives of those around us with your generous donations for the 1/2021 quarterly "virtual" charitable giving. Thanks to your willingness to heed the
call for donations to two local food banks, 100 Women Who Care of the Western Reserve is able to make considerable contributions to both.
The Greater Cleveland Food Bank has received a $3,300.00 donation from our members.
The Bainbridge Area Food for Friends has received $6160.00 from our members, and an
additional $3000.00 from the matching funds program administrated by The Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation for a total of $9,160.
It is so gratifying to be able accomplish these goals by working together for maximum impact. These monies will help so many people - thank you for standing up to be counted as we navigate our way to a "new normal."
Our hope is to have an in-person outdoor meeting in July, so stay tuned as we assess the possibility of making that a reality. Stay safe and get vaccinated as soon as you are able!
October 2020
Thank you so much for your latest generous donations on behalf of 100 Women Who Care…you’ve shown
you truly do care about the impact this pandemic is having across the board. Because of your giving spirit,
we were able to deliver $7,900.00 to the Soul To Sole/Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Cleveland to aid with their ClubSmart NE Ohio Learning Centers. (clevekids.org)
These 11 centers are for under-served youth forced into virtual learning situations by COVID-19.
These centers provide internet, laptops and adult proctors to help with homework. They have been set up in existing Boys and Girls Club locations and 1000 or more kids will be served by these facilities. Digital access
is the great divide, and it’s never been more important to ensuring success in todays schools
(and beyond) with the virtual learning situation so many are facing.
We are so proud to assist Soul To Sole (soultosolecle.com) in donating to this wonderful cause.
Thanks to all of you who donated and for enabling 100 WWC to keep our philanthropic mission going
during these challenging times.
Stay safe, stay strong!!
July 2020
Ladies, you heard our plea and answered loudly! Thank you!
We never thought we'd have to cancel our July meeting, but there was obviously no choice with the virus so widespread and contagious. You, our loyal members showed that "100 Women" don't need a meeting to come together for those in need - we can do it virtually.
Last week, we were able to donate $8,700.00 to the Cleveland Food Bank because you supported our call for a donation during these tough times. The Food Bank staff and administration was overwhelmed with your generosity and amazed that 100 Women Who Care could navigate the quarantine and still make a difference to so many people who are in desperate straits in our greater Cleveland community. A representative from the
Cleveland Food Bank will speak at our next meeting, whenever that may be. Please watch your email for an update on our October 27th meeting - and keep the faith alive that we'll be back together for in-person meetings sooner rather than later. Stay healthy, stay masked, and stay positive!
April 2020
Nearly 3 months have passed since our January meeting, but COVID-19 has made the world a different place. Social distancing is the new norm and ZOOM and FaceTime are our lifeline to family and friends.
Because of all this, we have cancelled our April 28th meeting to keep everyone home, safe and healthy.
We look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday, July 28th at 7pm at CF Township Hall. Please be thinking about and researching a 501(c)(3) philanthropic organization to put in our fishbowl. We can be sure that the needs of these groups will have multiplied exponentially during this crisis. Our participation is needed more than ever to make an impact in our community.
Thank you for your support, now and always.
STAY HOME, STAY SAFE, SAFE HEALTHY!
January 2020
The January meeting of 100 Women Who Care is in the record book, and another wonderful non-profit has become the recipient of our quarterly donation. This particular 501(c)3 is an unfamiliar one to some of us, but it’s not new to Cleveland. The Rid-All Green Partnership (greennghetto.org) is truly a multi-faceted organization doing great things in a forgotten corner of Cleveland.
Rid-All Green uses its 26 acre urban farm to grow produce to bring healthy, local food to area institutions and local residents. They do this while educating both children and adults so they can continue to provide healthy food for themselves and others. They also make and sell vitamin rich soil for their own use and for their many customers. And if that’s not enough, they publish a comic book series to educate kids about environmental stewardship and reclaiming urban land for growing purposes.
The long-term strategy of Rid-All Green is to use urban agriculture to educate the next generation of Clevelanders to not only learn to grow and eat fresh foods, but to also to open and operate their own businesses in the food industry. The opportunities range from selling fresh produce and fish, to food distribution, to full-fledged processing and packaging of fresh food products.
This group began as a labor of love for 3 childhood friends, and they have proven that anything is possible with hard work, boundless energy, and lots of love. 100 Women Who Care of the Western Reserve proudly supports their efforts and is excited that Rid-All Green will benefit from our generous member donations this quarter.
Please check your email for the address to mail your check if you were unable to attend the meeting.
Our next meeting is Tuesday, April 28th from 7-8pm at Chagrin Falls Township Hall.
A representative from Rid-All Green will speak for 5 minutes on the impact of our donation and further explain
their mission. All are welcome to attend to see how 100 WWC is making an impact and helping to improve our corner of the world.
October 2019
If you were unable to join us at the October meeting of 100 WWC, you missed 3 very compelling presentations about local philanthropic causes. Our members chose Pets for Vets, a group that is helping veterans and saving pets. The mission of Pets for Vets is to help heal the emotional wounds of military veterans by using the power of the human-animal bond. Many of our heroic female and male veterans suffer from PTSD and depression, both very isolating conditions. Shelter animals are given
a second chance when they are rescued, trained and paired with veterans who could benefit from having a companion animal. Pets provide a link to the outside world, a respite from solitude, and their unconditional love
is a lifeline for many. 100 Women Who Care of the Western Reserve is gratified to be able to support such a
worthy cause.
Go to their website at www.petsforvets.com to read more about the programs and services offered for our veterans.
Please check your email for the address to send your check if you have not already done so.
As always, your loyalty and support are facilitating real change in our world and we thank you so much!
A representative from Pets for Vets will be at our next meeting on
January 28th from 7 - 8 pm at Chagrin Falls Township Hall.
We look forward to seeing you there.
July 2019
It was so nice to see the friendly faces of our members as they joined us for the July meeting.
After 3 excellent presentations and a very close vote, our members chose The Haven Home to be the July recipient of our donation. The Haven Home is the "waiting room" for women and children experiencing homelessness. It's a safe place to stay until space becomes available in a shelter. Because the homeless shelters are in great demand The Haven Home is a lifesaver for women and children facing crisis. The families receive the basic needs of food, shelter, transportation and laundry coupled with programs on job readiness for adults, and arts, crafts and other activities for kids. The Haven Home serves an average of 53 needy families a month, and with this contribution from 100 Women Who Care they will be able to strengthen their program by recruiting additional volunteers.
Go to their website at www.thehavenhome.org to read more about the services offered to vulnerable women
and children in need.
If you weren't able to join us for the meeting, please check your email for the address to send your check.
As always, your loyalty and support are making real change in our world and we thank you so much!
A representative from The Haven Home will be at our next meeting from 7 -8 pm on October 22nd, 2019 at
Chagrin Falls Township Hall. Please join us!
April 2019
Spring was in the air, and over 50 members filled CF Township Hall to hear 3 excellent speakers share their 3 wonderful charities. The chosen program was LifeAct, a group with the important mission of suicide prevention. Trained, credentialed instructors go into NE Ohio schools and deliver a powerful educational program to over 30,000 students each year. Their goal is to teach young people to recognize the warning signs of depression and suicide in themselves and their peers - and to seek professional help. LifeAct teaches students to be the first line of defense in suicide prevention. In the last school year alone, over 2,500 students came forward for help after hearing the program. Sadly, the many pressures in the world today weigh heavily our youth. Suicide is the highest cause of death in teens, except for accidents. Research has shown that students who experience this program are significantly more likely to seek help for themselves and others. Suicide is a reality and LIfeAct actively educates to prevent it.
100 WWC is proud to be a part of this life-saving effort on behalf of the youth of NE Ohio. We encourage you to read more about LifeAct on their website, lifeact.org. If you weren't able to be at the meeting, please check your email for the address to send your check.
A representative from LifeAct will give a short presentation on the impact of our contribution at
our next meeting on July 23rd from 7-8pm at CF Township Hall. We look forward to seeing you there.
January 2019
Once again, the loyal members of 100 Women Who Care of the Western Reserve braved the cold and snow to come to our January 22nd meeting. Over 65 women heard 3 great presentations for deserving local groups.
The chosen program was The Provost Scholars Program at Case Western Reserve University.
Lee Thompson shared the specifics of this noble cause that provides mentoring for middle and high school students in the East Cleveland City Schools. Currently, 32 students are matched with a CRWU Professor mentor.
This one-on-one program provides a mentor relationship to show the students the possibilities that exist beyond their current community. Students attend seminars, study sessions and formulate an individualized plan for success in advanced education or a direct career path. Students are referred by teachers and parents and then complete a lengthy application to be considered for this program, and family Involvement is one of the requirements to help ensure student success.
The need to expand this program is great, and our contribution will enable The Provost Scholars Program at CWRU help even more students thrive and grow. We are gratified to be able to be a part of this innovative attempt to make our community stronger and more inclusive for all. For more information, on this program, please go to: case.edu/provostscholars
We look forward to hearing a spokesman from the program speak at our next meeting on April 23rd.
Well done, ladies!
October 2018
Fall and philanthropy fit together beautifully at our October 22nd 100 WWC meeting. The members present chose Women United, a partner of United Way Services of Geauga County for our quarterly donation. The goal of Women United is to use the power and energy that women naturally possess to improve lives in Geauga County. Their focus is on literacy and education with the goal of improving access to books for families in need. It goes without saying that literacy is key to educational success, and educational success is key to a productive life.
With that in mind, this group has established 7 “Little Free Libraries,” they have worked with the Geauga Public Library Bookmobile, and they have sponsored book distributions to young children through schools and pediatricians.
Women United continues to promote literacy and a love of reading to children with limited access to books though their outreach programs. To learn more about this worthy group, please email [email protected].
Please check your email for the address to send your check if you were unable to attend this meeting.
We applaud the efforts of Women United and are proud to contribute to their cause. After all, members of 100 Women Who Care certainly understand the power of strong women determined to improve lives in their community. Bring a friend to our next meeting on January 22, 2019 from 7-8 pm to hear a representative from
Women United share the impact of your/our donation and how it will help further their mission.
Also, please plan on suggesting a charity for our fishbowl. There are so many worthy groups who need our help. Spend some time researching a cause near and dear to your heart and be prepared to speak when your group is chosen for consideration. Change can’t happen unless we all pitch in and get involved.
Be a part of the process and make our community a better place to live for all.
See you on January 22, 2019 at Chagrin Falls Township Hall from 7-8pm, and thank you for you continued support.
July 2018
The loyal members of 100 Women Who Care don’t even let summer vacation get in the way of their philanthropy. On July 24th, nearly 50 women took the time to come to our meeting at Chagrin Township Hall to hear 3 wonderful presentations about local charities doing great work in our community. After a close vote, our quarterly donation was awarded to Birthing Beautiful Communities (www.birthingbeautiful.org).
“BBC” targets the neighborhoods with the highest rates of infant deaths in the city of Cleveland and Cuyahoga County. African American women are affected by infant death 2 times more than the national average due to inadequate prenatal care, so this is a much needed service.
“BBC” is comprised of a group of community members trained as doulas and a perinatal support team that strives to reduce this statistic through education, culture, advocacy, engagement and support using a holistic approach. Birthing Beautiful Communities also trains local women to become doulas in their communities and employs them to support pregnant woman in their own neighborhood.
Once again, 100 WWC is proud to support this important work of giving mothers and babies an equal fighting chance for a good start in life. Please check your email for the address to send your check if you were not able to be at this meeting.
Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, October 23rd at Chagrin Falls Township Hall from 7-8pm. A representative from Birthing Beautiful Communities will be there to share how our contribution has impacted their organization.
April 2018
Spring is in the air! 100 Women Who Care celebrated this fact by holding our 30th meeting with over 65 members present to hear about 3 wonderful charitable opportunities. The women who spoke truly tugged at our hearts with their 5 minute talks about the great work these groups are doing in our community. Ultimately, the chosen 501(c)3
was The Tree House of Bedford (www.thetreehouseofbedford.org).
The Tree House is located in a storefront in Bedford, Ohio. It offers developmental playgroups at a very low cost (or no cost at all) so that children who don’t fit in the traditional mold and might not have many chances for group play can work with pediatric physical and occupational therapists. The goal is to increase their sensory skills, gross motor skills and fine motor skills through activities that are playful and fun at any level. Parents leave their children for the 60 or 90 minute group play sessions so the children can play and learn in this safe and fun environment.
100 WWC of the Western Reserve is proud to aid in this wonderful service to enable children to grow and succeed at home, in the classroom, and beyond.
Please check your email for the address to mail your donation if you were not at the meeting.
Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, July 24th at Chagrin Township Hall. A representative from The Tree House will be there to tell us more about their work and how our contribution will be used to further their cause. We look forward to seeing you there, and once again, thank you for your continued support. With your help, we have now raised over $350,000 in only 30 hours.
January 2018
Neither rain nor sleet nor snow could keep the wonderful members of 100 Women Who Care of the Western Reserve from attending our quarterly meeting at Chagrin Falls Township Hall on January 23rd. Nearly 60 women were present to hear 3 excellent presentations on local charities. After asking questions and analyzing the choices, the charity receiving the most votes was Birthright of Geauga. This group, located in Chardon, is committed to providing love and support to women facing unplanned pregnancies. Birthright services are free, non-judgmental and confidential. Basically, Birthright will help in any way they are able: from cribs, diapers and formula to medical support and career counseling. Their goal is to support and respect any woman, regardless of her situation and help her through the difficulties involved in an unplanned or stressful pregnancy. Birthright is dependent solely on donations and dedicated volunteers. 100 Women Who Care of the Western Reserve is proud to be a part of such a worthwhile and meaningful mission. Thanks to each of you for your loyalty to our group and the causes that our contributions support.
Please check your email for the address to send your check if you were unable to attend last night’s meeting.
Our next meeting will be Tuesday, April 24th from 7 pm-8pm at

Please check your email for instructions on where to send your check made out to
Courage to Caregivers and thanks so much for your loyal support.

Our next meeting is on Tuesday, January 24th at 7pm at Chagrin Falls Township Hall.

- What is the formal name and history of the organization?
- What is the mission, who do they serve and how do they do they accomplish their goals?
- How would the organization be impacted by receiving the donation?
- What is the overview of the organization's budget? How many paid employees? How many volunteers do they have?
- What are their funding sources?

To learn more about
the work they do and the impact they have, please go improbable players.org.

where it will be held.
